What started as a simple gesture of love, turned into something I feel called to do.
A few years ago, Catherine painted a series of butterflies to process grief and quietly shared them with the world. What happened next surprised her. Hundreds of strangers wrote in, each carrying their own butterfly story.
The Butterfly Project was born from that moment. Each month, five handmade butterflies are sent to people in the community who could use a little light.
